Creamy Cauliflower Mash
Mashed Cauliflower tastes just as good as mashed potatoes and is a great side dish for most meals. The secret lies in flavouring them with just the right ingredients to make them mouth watering. In the recipe below I use tahini and paprika but you can add in garlic and other herbs and spices if you wish.
Ingredients
1 head of cauliflower. Organic if possible
2.5 Tbsp tahini
1.5 tsp sea salt
1 tsp cumin
2 spring onions
1 tsp paprika
pepper to taste
Directions
Wash and cut the cauliflower and place in a steamer. Steam for 8-10 min or until tender.
Transfer to a food processor and add tahini, salt, cumin, onions, and paprika if using. Mix until smooth. Taste and adjust with salt and pepper.
Transfer to a serving bowl and serve alongside with your favourite protein such as a piece of chicken, fish or some tofu. Enjoy!
