Baked Salmon with Dill and Lemon

Looking for a simple and delicious dinner option? Try my Baked Salmon with Dill and Lemon. It’s easy to prepare and packed with flavour, perfect for a busy weeknight or a relaxed weekend meal. This meal is not only easy to make but also healthy, rich in omega-3 fatty acids and full of flavour.

 Ingredients:

         •       4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz or 170g each)

        •       2 tablespoons (30ml) olive oil

        •       1 tablespoon (15ml) fresh dill, chopped (or 1 teaspoon (5ml) dried dill)

        •       2 lemons (one sliced, one juiced)

        •       1 teaspoon (5ml) ground black pepper

        •       1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) sea salt

        •       2 cloves garlic, minced

 Instructions:

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  • Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish lined with parchment pap

  • Drizzle the olive oil and lemon juice over the fillets. Sprinkle with minced garlic, salt, and pepper.

  • Arrange lemon slices on top of each fillet and sprinkle with dill.

  •  Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes, until the salmon is cooked through.

  •  Serve hot, with additional dill and lemon slices if desired.

  • Serving Suggestions: Goes great with a side of steamed vegetables and a serving of brown rice or quinoa for a balanced meal.
