Apple and Walnut Bircher Pots
Need a quick and easy breakfast for those busy mornings? Try these delicious and fruity Bircher bowls! Prep the night before and enjoy in the morning.
Apple and Walnut Bircher Pots
Ingredients
1½ apples
4 tbsp ground walnuts (hazelnuts nuts work well too)
½ tsp cinnamon
70g porridge oats
400ml walnut milk drink (you can use other nut milks if you prefer)
15g dried apricots, roughly chopped
20g toasted walnuts, roughly chopped
fresh pomegranate seeds or berries or a fruit of your choice (optional)
1 Tbsp Pumpkin seeds
1 Tbsp flaxseeds crushed.
Instructions
Grate 1 apple and place it in a bowl with the ground nuts, cinnamon, oats and nut milk drink and leave to soak overnight.
Spoon the bircher into 2 bowls.
Chop the remaining apple into small pieces then top the bircher with the apple , apricots, pomegranate seeds (if using), pumpkin seeds and walnuts to serve. Enjoy!
