 Matcha Green Tea Latte

Start your day with my easy and Matcha Green Tea Latte. With its rich antioxidants my Matcha Latte is a great addition to your daily routine.

        Ingredients:
        •       1 tsp matcha green tea powder
        •       1/4 cup hot water (not boiling)
        •       3/4 cup almond milk (or your choice of milk), heated
        •       A pinch of cinnamon (optional, for an added layer of flavor) plus 1 tbs of MCT oil.
       
        Instructions:
        1.      Sift the matcha powder into a mug to prevent lumps and ensure a smooth latte.
        2.      Add hot water to the matcha powder in the mug and whisk until it turns frothy.
        3.      In a separate container, heat the milk until warm and then froth it, either with a milk frother or by shaking it in a jar with a tight-fitting lid.
        4.      Pour the frothy milk into your mug, combining it gently with the matcha mixture.
        5.      If desired, add the MCT oil and sprinkle a pinch of cinnamon on top for a warm, spicy note.
        6.      Stir gently, savoring the natural flavors and uplifting energies of your Matcha Latte.
